Anritsu MS4644A is a Microwave Vector Network Analyzer. The MS4644A VNA is an instrument system that contains a built-in source, test set, and analyzer.

The Anritsu VectorStar features a broad frequency range, fast measurement speed, superior dynamic range, and advanced time-domain processing with up to 100,000 data points. And as your needs grow, so can your VectorStar with frequency range upgrades to 110 GHz and beyond, two-port to multiport upgrades, and linear to nonlinear measurement upgrades. Simply put, the VectorStar is a smart decision now, and a smart decision later.

The MS4644A VectorStar Active Device Measurements Suite lets you perform single or multi-frequency gain compression measurements, while providing internal bias tees, two or four step attenuators, and extended power range control.

MS4644A measurement times include sweep time, and band switching time, in single channel mode. Typical. 20 us/point is achieved in true swept mode, with 25,000 points, with ALC turned on for level accuracy, with display turned-on for tuning purposes, with locking turned-on for frequency accuracy and repeatability, with correction turned on to meet published residual specifications, and over the full span of the product with all band-switch points to fully characterize a device.

Test results are displayed real time on a front panel touch screen or also to a separate video monitor. Screen captures can easily be printed or saved in common graphic file formats.

Our Active Device Design Package features a full range of softwareenhanced analyses for swept power and current-voltage (I-V) curves, plus load-pull capabilities for both linear and nonlinear amplifier design. It also lets you improve model accuracy through device measurements.
